If your client does not need immediate legal help, the next step is to connect them with reliable legal information. In many cases, good legal information can answer some of your client’s legal questions. Legal information can also help your client decide whether to seek legal advice.

The Centre for Public Legal Education Alberta (CPLEA) produces legal information about many areas of the law and in many different formats. Our mission is to create resources that help people understand their rights and obligations under the law. We strive to improve both access to justice and the quality of justice available to Albertans. Before you start sharing with your client, a few words of caution!
