By now, you probably have so many things going through your mind that you may feel more confused than when you first started. It’s okay to be unsure what to do, as the point of this course is not to convince you to purchase, but to provide information so you can make the right decision for your situation.

After a couple quick review quizzes, there is a final Reflection section, where you are invited to write down your thoughts on this module, what you have learned, and any other comments you want to share with Capital Region Housing. If you decide not to, you should still take some time to mull over all you have learned before going on to the rest of this course. Below are a couple of things to think about, if you need help getting started.

  • Is the kind of home that I want likely to change soon because of shifts in family make-up, careers, etc?
  • Am I interested in the labour of having a home? (yard work, condo boards, etc.)
  • Can I afford to live in the neighbourhood that I want, if I decide to buy?
  • Am I likely to move soon due to career, family, etc?
  • Do I want to live in this city or location for awhile?
