Nested was created to help you decide if buying a home is the right choice, and to provide comprehensive and unbiased education that can help you achieve your goal. The purpose of this course is not to persuade you to purchase, but to support you through the decision making process. Its goal is to empower you to think about the possibility of owning your own home.

As you read through the modules, you'll have the chance to learn from industry professionals who will help you understand the home buying process. There will also be some short activities or self-reflection questions, and to get the most out of this course you should take the time to complete these. You might need to step away from your computer to think, or to review your personal finances, before answering them. If you do, by the end of the course you will have the knowledge and tools needed to successfully travel the home-buying process from start to end.

While you work, don't worry about losing your progress or falling behind, as this course is self-paced. Also, the system will remember the last section you completed, and you can continue from there when you return or re-log into your account. Once you finish a module there will be a short Quiz that you will need to complete and pass before you can continue on. After you have successfully passed all four core modules, you will get a certificate saying you have finished this course. 

Finally, you will have the chance to take some ‘Optional’ modules after you are done the four core ones. These are smaller, and focus on specific topics like Rural Property, Condos, Secondary Suites, Home Maintenance, or Thinking Long-Term. You do not need to finish these modules but you could find them useful as you think about all your home buying options.
